Sports Turf Technology; Peter has worked in the turf industry since 1990 after completing a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Horticulture with honours at the University of Queensland. Peter joined Sports Turf Technology in 2002 and is part owner of the company. He is a past president of the Turf Grass Association of Australia (WA) and has a long and committed history within the WA Turf Industry. Peter is a great educator and wealth of knowledge with regard to turf maintenance best practice and managing sand profiles in WA.

Dan Ferguson is a Principal Water Planner for Western Australia’s Department of Water and Environmental Regulation specialising in water demand management and supply planning. Dan is committed to achieving the sustainable use of the state’s water resources by combining strategic planning, natural and data sciences and stakeholder engagement. He has completed a Bachelor of Science (UWA), post-graduate studies and the Water Leadership Program at the International Water Centre. Earlier in his career Dan was a leader in regional natural resource management in Western Australia’s wheatbelt and the rangelands of South West Queensland.
